Matrix Total Results Miracle Creator Multi-Tasking 20 Benefits Treatment Spray // The August Review

After working my way through a few of the Matrix Total Results ranges, I thought I’d give the Matrix Total Results Miracle Creator Multi-Tasking Treatment Spray a try.

I’m always a little sceptical when a product promises to do an entire list of things, because surely it can’t possibly do everything, can it? Let’s find out…

A commercial product photo of Matrix Miracle Creator 20 Multi-Tasking Leave-In Treatment spray. The clear bottle with vibrant purple-to-pink gradient labeling and black spray nozzle rests vertically in front of a glossy, translucent liquid bubble filled with small floating droplets. The entire setup is set against a textured, light purple backdrop.

Matrix Total Results Miracle Creator Multi-Tasking 20 Benefits Treatment Spray – RRP £17.50

The brand describes the product as:

“Achieve a professional finish with the Matrix Total Results Miracle Creator; a multi-tasking formula that works to nourish, repair and protect locks in just 60 seconds. Delivering twenty benefits, the lightweight spray helps to prevent breakage and split ends, while taming frizz and defending against heat damage to leave hair healthy-looking from root to tip. Replenishing moisture and smoothing strands, the versatile formula primes hair for styling; effortlessly detangling and improving manageability for salon-worthy results. It helps to shield hair from external aggressors, corrects roughness and minimises hair damage and breakage. Hair is soft, sleek and conditioned without greasy residue after use.”

Pros:

  • Lightweight, doesn’t make my hair feel heavy or coated.
  • Makes my hair feel softer and smoother.
  • Helps make my hair more manageable, especially at the ends.
  • Great for detangling after washing.
  • Leaves my hair looking shinier.
  • Helps tame frizz and flyaways.
  • You don’t need loads of product.

Cons:

  • Twenty benefits is a LOT of claims! I don’t think you necessarily notice all 20 individually.
  • You need to be careful not to over-apply if you have fine hair.

The Verdict:

I really like the Matrix Miracle Creator, and I think the thing I appreciate most is just how easy it is to use. It’s one of those products that I can spray through my hair after washing, comb through and then carry on with the rest of my routine. Matrix recommends using it on towel-dried hair before styling. It can also be used on dry hair when your hair needs a little extra nourishment or shine.

My hair feels softer, smoother and more manageable after using it. I have found my ends don’t split as quickly, and it gives my hair a lovely shine.

I love that you can use this after the High Amplify range to keep up that lightweight feel. I’ve become increasingly aware of how much I don’t like products that leave my hair feeling coated or weighed down. This doesn’t have that problem for me.

I’m not going to claim that I have personally tested and confirmed every one of the 20 benefits, but I can definitely say that I’ve noticed several of the things it’s designed to do. The softness, shine, smoothness, manageability, frizz control, heat protection, nourishment, moisture, detangling and breakage reduction are brilliant.

My Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5 Stars)
