Arencia Fresh Rosehip Rice Mochi Cleanser // The August Review
Welcome to The August Review! We are back with the first of fifteen product reviews this month! Starting with skincare, this is a 2026 purchase that I have been absolutely raving about.
Arencia Fresh Rosehip Rice Mochi Cleanser – RRP £17.00
The brand describes the product as:
“Gently cleanse your skin with the ARENCIA Fresh Rosehip Rice Mochi Cleanser. It’s a thorough all-in-one cleanser that removes impurities, soothes irritation, and maintains moisture. Its soft, dough-like texture eliminates the need for double cleansing. Infused with vitamin-rich Rosehip Extract to brighten and protect, Pink Aloe Vera to hydrate and calm, and Blue Chamomile for extra soothing, it also features Sweet Almond Seed Powder for mild exfoliation. Providing 48-hour hydration and suitable for all skin types, it can even double as a nourishing moisturising mask.“
Pros:
- Unusual, but lovely dough-like texture.
- A little goes a loooong way.
- Gently exfoliates without being harsh.
- Lathers really well.
- Can be used as a daily cleanser or as a face mask.
- Brightens the skin.
- Leaves skin feeling clean, soft, and refreshed.
Cons:
- The consistency isn’t the best for removing heavy eye makeup.
The Verdict:
I picked up this cleanser after seeing it all over TikTok, and I’m so glad I did. I love Korean skincare. After hearing skincare expert Caroline Hirons recommend having a mix of drugstore, clinical, and Korean products in your routine, I decided to pick up this cleanser. With a cleanser usually being the perfect place to start.
The unusual dough-like texture is what first caught my attention, and it doesn’t disappoint. A little goes a loooong way. It lathers beautifully, gently exfoliates, and leaves my skin feeling clean, soft, and noticeably brighter. It can even be used as a face mask, making it incredibly versatile. The scent is lovely without being overpowering, and I’ve already noticed my skin looking healthier and smoother. I’ll definitely be trying more cleansers from this range as we head into winter.
