In today’s The August Review, how about another eye cream? Here are my thoughts on the Murad Vita-C Eyes Dark Circle Corrector.

Murad Vita-C Eyes Dark Circle Corrector – £65.00 RRP

The brand describes the product as:

“The skin around our eyes is exceptionally thin and more likely to reveal discolouration, fine lines and tell-tale signs of tiredness. That’s where this potent cream comes in. Formulated with Murad’s Gold-stabilised vitamin C (a one-of-a-kind complex that enhances L-ascorbic acid’s stability and potency) to pack a punch of antioxidant protection as it brightens all types of dark circles. It’s also infused with red and brown algae extracts to noticeably de-puff and soothe your under-eye areas, light-reflecting micro-minerals to illuminate any dark shadows and a cooling infusion of cucumber helps to hydrate and visibly smooth the look of fine lines”.

Pros:

  • Smells so nice.
  • A little goes a long way.
  • Smoothed under eyes.
  • Brightened.
  • Hydrated.
  • Sits lovely under other skincare items and makeup.

Cons:

  • On the pricier side.

The Verdict:

Like with the Sunday Riley Auto Correct Eye Cream, I wanted to find something to help my dark circles. This was another on the pricier side, that I was able to pick up on offer. Cult Beauty coming through again!

Out of the two eye creams, I would say this worked the fastest for me. I think my under eyes were missing some Vitamin C, and I am now looking at Vitamin C serums!

I had the same results. Smoother, brighter and hydrated under eyes. But this was the winner of the two for me. The “light reflecting micro minerals” actually work. I’ve never seen my undereyes look so bright.

I highly, highly recommend this. I am 2 months in and still have quite a bit left!

As always, thanks for reading…
