The Body Shop Ultimate Beauty Advent Calendar
For today’s Calendar Countdown, we’re taking a look at The Body Shop Ultimate Beauty Advent Calendar.
As always, these posts are based on my own opinion. I’ll be comparing the calendar with previous versions, other advent calendars on the market, and most importantly, whether I think you’ll get your money’s worth from the products inside.
I don’t buy every calendar I feature because, quite honestly, that would be a huge waste of products! Instead, I’m looking at them from the perspective of someone who loves beauty, has years of retail experience, and thinks advent calendars are a great way to discover new brands and try products you might not otherwise pick up.

At a Glance…
- Price: £139.00 (£19.00 more than last year)

How does it compare to last year?
There are some noticeable changes to the Ultimate Beauty Advent Calendar this year. The biggest is the £19 price increase, taking it from £120 in 2025 to £139 in 2026. The product count remains at 25, while the stated value has increased from £238 to over £289.50.
Looking at the contents, 15 of the 25 products are repeats from last year’s calendar, leaving 10 new products for 2026. That’s a 60% repeat rate, which I would consider fairly high. The repeats include some of The Body Shop’s biggest staples, such as the Shea Body Butter, Shea Shampoo and Conditioner, Strawberry Lip Butter, Camomile Cleansing product and Edelweiss products.
I think the jump in full-size products remains one of the biggest reasons to choose the Ultimate over the Classic. The Ultimate is designed around larger, more substantial products, whereas the Classic is much more focused on new customers and travel-sized treats. The Body Shop itself positions the Ultimate as the option for those who want its full-size favourites.
Who would I recommend this to?
This would be a good choice for you if you:
- Love The Body Shop
- Want a bigger selection of its products
- Will get use of the products
- Want to stock up for a good amount of time
- Are happy to spend around £140 on a beauty advent calendar
I’d probably skip it if you:
- Don’t use body care products
- Want more newer items than repeats
- Haven’t tried The Body Shop before and aren’t sure you’ll use the products
My Thoughts
This is probably the stronger of The Body Shop’s two advent calendars for me, but I still find myself slightly on the fence.
The biggest selling point is definitely the number of larger products. At £139, you’re spending considerably more than the Classic, but you’re also getting products that will last much longer. Including full-size skincare, haircare and body care. If you’re already a Body Shop fan, I think there’s much more here to get excited about.
However, the 15 repeats from last year’s calendar do make me pause. Sixty per cent of the calendar being made up of products that appeared last year is quite a lot. Especially when the price has increased by £19. If you bought the advent calendar last year, I’d definitely compare the contents before buying again.
For someone who didn’t buy last year’s calendar, though, I think this is a really good way to experience more of The Body Shop. You get some of the brand’s best-known products alongside newer additions, and the larger sizes make the £139 price tag easier to justify.
Do you get your money’s worth?: Yes
