The Body Shop Classic Beauty Advent Calendar
For today’s Calendar Countdown, we’re taking a look at The Body Shop Classic Beauty Advent Calendar.
As always, these posts are based on my own opinion. I’ll be comparing the calendar with previous versions, other advent calendars on the market, and most importantly, whether I think you’ll get your money’s worth from the products inside.
I don’t buy every calendar I feature because, quite honestly, that would be a huge waste of products! Instead, I’m looking at them from the perspective of someone who loves beauty, has years of retail experience, and thinks advent calendars are a great way to discover new brands and try products you might not otherwise pick up.

At a Glance…

How does it compare to last year?
There are quite a few changes to the Classic Beauty Advent Calendar this year, starting with the packaging. The 2026 version has moved away from last year’s design and now comes in a chest-style design, with each product individually boxed, which I personally like. The design is in the signature Body Shop Green with a very festive bauble and streamer print. Not as reusable a design as last year, but so pretty.
When it comes to the products themselves, there are 15 repeats from last year’s calendar, meaning 9 of the 24 products are new for 2026. That’s a fairly high number of repeats, with over half of the calendar featuring products that were also included last year.
If you bought last year’s calendar, I’d definitely check the contents before buying this one.
Who would I recommend this to?
This would be a good choice for you if you:
- Have not tried The Body Shop before
- Want a pamper but only have a shower, as this includes no bath items.
- Want a budget-friendly advent
- Want to try many different scents
- Want to try products before committing to the full-sized version
- Are purchasing this for a teen getting into body care.
I’d probably skip it if you:
- Only want full-size products
- Are not overly interested in body care products
- Don’t think you’ll use enough of the products
- If you are looking for more facial skin care and makeup
- You bought this last year and wanted newer items
My Thoughts
This is definitely an on-the-fence advent calendar for me. Out of all the beauty advent calendars on the market, The Body Shop is one of the more reasonably priced options for the quality and amount of product you are getting. At £65, I think it offers a good introduction to the brand without asking you to spend a huge amount of money. However, the high number of repeats is making it difficult to 100% love.
The main thing to consider with The Body Shop is that the brand has a smaller range of products to choose from compared with some of the bigger beauty retailers. So there is naturally going to be repeats as well as a stronger focus on body care. With plenty of shower gels, body butters and hand care alongside a few skincare treats.
In my opinion, being body care focused makes this the better of The Body Shop’s two calendars for someone who is new to the brand. It gives you the chance to try a good selection of their classic products without committing to larger sizes of everything. If you’re already a regular Body Shop customer, however, you might be discouraged by the number of repeats, wanting something new. Or be more tempted by the Ultimate Advent, which contains larger-sized products to delve into or stock up on.
That said, The Body Shop has always been particularly good at gifting, so I think the choice between the two will really come down to what you’re looking for. The Classic feels like the better introduction to the brand, while the Ultimate may make more sense for someone who already knows and loves The Body Shop and wants to get more product for their money.
Do you get your money’s worth?: Yes
