How many products are repeats?
There are 5 repeated products in this advent calendar (highlighted above). I’m very impressed to see that number kept low again this year. One of the products is the Konjac Sponge, which isn’t a bad thing, skincare tools are a necessity too. Two other products, the camomile cleansing butter and Vitamin E toner, are ‘all types of skin’ products which I did expect to see again.
What is different to last year?
Going with the same forest green colour, you instantly know this is the ‘ultimate’ calendar or, in other terms, the highest price one. With the same style of illustrations, the pop-up setting this year is Christmas outdoors, with people delivering presents and decorating a Christmas tree in the town. They have also decided to go down the same route of keeping this advent skin and body care items only.
My thoughts
This is priced at £145.00 with a worth of £219.00. Last year it was £140.00 with a £204.00 worth. That is a lovely extra £10.00 in contents. I do find that this has more midsized products this year, but at £145.00 I would, as always, suggest you read through the contents. Why buy an advent calendar if you’d only use half the products? It certainly has everything needed for a pamper. If you do purchase this, I’d highly recommend keeping the box for reuse.
