Spooky Sounds & Chills // My Halloween Playlist Favourites
I love Halloween. Christmas might be my ultimate favourite, but Halloween comes a very close second. When it comes to music though, it’s a little trickier to put together the perfect playlist.
Unlike other holidays, most Halloween-esque songs aren’t traditional hits. They come from movies, TV series, or are inspired by spooky books, poems and plays. That means the list is smaller, but it’s definitely full of atmosphere.
In the spirit of sharing some spooky season fun, I wanted to include music that captures the essence of Halloween. Some songs will give you total nostalgic vibes (because what’s Halloween without Monster Mash?), while others you might recognise from more modern streams like the Wednesday series. Whether you’re hosting a party, going for a run, or just working away on a project, the tempo of many of these tracks makes them perfect for keeping your energy up.
I’ve actually been playing this playlist while writing this post, and it’s set the perfect tone. A mix of eerie, fun, and motivating. Hopefully, it does the same for you and helps you get into the Halloween mood. So turn up the volume, light a candle or two, and let these songs be the soundtrack to your spooky season.
