For today’s Calendar Countdown, we’re taking a look at the Space NK Beauty Advent Calendar.
As always, these posts are based on my own opinion. I’ll be comparing the calendar with previous versions, other advent calendars on the market, and most importantly, whether I think you’ll get your money’s worth from the products inside.
I don’t buy every calendar I feature because, quite honestly, that would be a huge waste of products! Instead, I’m looking at them from the perspective of someone who loves beauty, has years of retail experience, and thinks advent calendars are a great way to discover new brands and try products you might not otherwise pick up.

How does it compare to last year?
First, the price. At £275, this year’s calendar is £15 more expensive than last year’s £260 version. However, Space NK has also increased the number of products, with 35 products in 2026 compared with 30 in 2025.
The biggest selling point for me, though, is that Space NK says there are zero repeats from the 2025 calendar. That’s a huge positive when you’re looking at a calendar at this price point.
There are also 31 advent exclusives, which makes this feel much more special. And then there’s the value. Last year’s calendar was already a big investment, but this year’s is stated to be worth over £1,200, giving you over £925 worth of products above the £275 purchase price.
I love the design this year. It’s bright, it’s festive, and the colour palette is gorgeous.
Who would I recommend this to?
This would be a good choice for you if you:
- Love discovering high-end and luxury beauty brands
- Want a mixture of skincare, makeup, haircare and fragrance
- Prefer advent calendars with lots of full-size products
- Already shop at Space NK and recognise many of the brands inside
- Want to try products that aren’t appearing in other advent calendars
- Have £275 to spend on a beauty advent calendar
I’d probably skip it if you:
- Have a strict advent calendar budget
- Prefer mostly skincare or mostly makeup
- Don’t use a wide variety of beauty products
- Don’t think you’d use enough of the products to justify the initial cost
My Thoughts
I think this is probably one of the strongest luxury beauty advent calendars I’ve seen for 2026. But the £275 price tag is still going to make this a difficult one for a lot of people to justify.
What I really like is the variety. There are some genuinely exciting products inside, from the Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand and Hourglass blush to La Mer, Medik8, K18, Sunday Riley and Summer Fridays. You’re getting skincare, makeup, haircare, body care and fragrance, so it doesn’t feel like you’ve got 35 versions of the same type of product.
The zero repeats from 2025 is another huge tick for me. When you’re spending this much, I don’t want to see half of last year’s calendar coming back around, so it’s great to see Space NK making the effort to create a completely new selection.
I also think the 31 advent exclusives make the calendar more interesting. You’re not simply buying 35 products that could all be purchased separately from Space NK; there’s a real element of discovery here.
The downside is, obviously, the price. £275 is a lot of money for an advent calendar, even when the value is over £1,200. You need to know that you’re going to use pretty much everything inside rather than being tempted purely by the headline value.
For someone who loves luxury beauty and has the budget, though, I think this is one of those calendars where the contents genuinely justify taking a closer look.
