For the first post in this years The August Review, I’ll be going through my experience with the daily doser by Skin + Me.

The Verdict:
I found Skin + Me through Caroline Hirons. If you don’t know who she is, you need to follow her. In the UK we are short of dermatologists and with every medication induced breakout due to Ulcerative Colitis, I’ve had problematic skin. After my surgery, I was no longer having issues or prescribed medication. This was the best time to really focus on my breakouts.
After completing the online consultation process, I was eligible for the daily doser treatment they offer. Another great selling point for the company. With the process, the questionnaire and the photos, it only takes a few days for the experts to go through. If they cannot come up with a plan for you, you are refunded.
I was given a 4 month treatment plan in which, over those months, the strength of ingredients increases or decreases. Some ingredients can be added in certain months too.
I’m just over one month into using Skin + Me and have noticed quite a change. Fewer breakouts, better pigmentation and smaller pores, to name a few. Stripping back my skincare routine to only include the basics and the Skin + Me daily doser at night has really made a difference. In my opinion, using companies like Skin + Me means you can spend less time and money on trial and error. I was umm-ing and aah-ing about whether I knew enough or had used this enough to review. The fact I am a little over a month in, and so happy with my skin, speaks volumes.
