Selfridges Beauty Advent Calendar 2026

For today’s Calendar Countdown, we’re taking a look at the Selfridges Beauty Advent Calendar 2026.

As always, these posts are based on my own opinion. I’ll be comparing the calendar with previous versions, other advent calendars on the market, and most importantly, whether I think you’ll get your money’s worth from the products inside.

I don’t buy every calendar I feature because, quite honestly, that would be a huge waste of products! Instead, I’m looking at them from the perspective of someone who loves beauty, has years of retail experience, and thinks advent calendars are a great way to discover new brands and try products you might not otherwise pick up.

A promotional image for the Selfridges & Co. 25-day beauty advent calendar titled "THE BIG BEAUTY HAUL" features a vibrant yellow box surrounded by a wide selection of luxury cosmetics, haircare, and skincare products set against a warm gold background. The central box displays bold white text flanked by a comprehensive list of featured high-end brands. On top of and surrounding the main box on a reflective black surface are neatly arranged products from popular labels such as Color Wow, Estée Lauder, Tatcha, Maison Francis Kurkdjian, Jo Malone London, Sol de Janeiro, and Elemis. Small numbered yellow drawers, including ones marked "25" and "19," hold additional beauty tools like a Morphe makeup brush and a sheet mask, completing the festive product arrangement.

How does it compare to last year?

As mentioned above, Selfridges has kept the calendar at £250.00, making this the third year in a row at the same price. However, the value has increased considerably, from £1,136 last year to £1,278 this year. An increase of £142.00!

The number of beauty products has also increased. Last year’s calendar contained 36 beauty products alongside the Beauty Concierge Card, whereas this year’s has 40 beauty products plus the card. And the number of full-size products is particularly impressive this year, with 33 full-size products.

And while the packaging remains recognisably Selfridges, with the signature yellow design, I think keeping the same overall aesthetic works. It’s become part of what makes the Selfridges calendar instantly recognisable.

Who would I recommend this to?

This would be a good choice for you if you:

  • Love trying lots of different beauty brands
  • Want a mixture of skincare, makeup, haircare, body care and fragrance
  • Prefer advent calendars with a large number of full-size products
  • Enjoy luxury and premium beauty brands
  • Like discovering products you may not normally buy
  • Have £250.00 to spend on a beauty advent calendar
  • Want something that could also work well as a shared calendar

I’d probably skip it if you:

  • Have a strict advent calendar budget
  • Only want skincare or only want makeup
  • Already own lots of products from the brands included
  • Prefer smaller, more focused advent calendars
  • Wouldn’t use enough of the products to justify the £250.00 cost

My Thoughts

Priced at the same £250.00 as last year’s calendar, but now worth £1,278.00. I think Selfridges has done a really good job with this year’s offering. The increase in value is impressive, especially when you consider that the price hasn’t increased at all.

There is a really good mix of skincare, makeup, haircare, body care and fragrance, and there are some fantastic brands included. Seeing names like Augustinus Bader, Dr. Barbara Sturm, Tatcha, Gucci, Burberry, Jo Malone London and Charlotte Tilbury alongside some more affordable brands gives the calendar a good balance.

The 33 full-size products is the biggest selling point for me. When you’re spending £250.00 on an advent calendar, I want to feel like I’m getting products that will actually last beyond Christmas, rather than lots of tiny samples.

I’m also really pleased with the lack of repeats. There is technically one repeat when you include the Beauty Concierge Card, but as that’s an experience rather than a beauty product. And something Selfridges has included in previous years so I don’t really count it. The actual beauty contents feel completely new compared with last year.

The only thing I’d say is the same consideration I had last year: will you actually use everything? There are 40 products here, and although that sounds fantastic, there will inevitably be products that aren’t right for everyone. If you’re only interested in a handful of the brands or categories included, you may be better off spending £250.00 on a few specific products or gift sets instead.

But if you’re someone who loves the excitement of discovering lots of different beauty products, I think Selfridges has made a very convincing case for its 2026 calendar. For me, this is stronger than last year’s offering.

Do you get your money’s worth?: Yes
