Rare Beauty Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer – £21.00

The brand describes the product as:

“A lightweight, hydrating Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer with cake-free, medium-to-full coverage that lasts while brightening skin with a radiant finish. This concealer instantly hides blemishes, dark circles, and redness, with buildable coverage and a skin-like finish that won’t cake or settle into fine lines. With a botanical blend, it’s creamy and hydrating, yet long-lasting and sweat-resistant.”

Pros:

  • Buildable coverage.
  • Doesn’t crease.
  • Creamy texture.
  • Great application with a brush or sponge.
  • Blends into the skin lovely.
  • Long lasting.
  • Great as an eye primer.

Cons:

  • Not a fan of the doe foot applicator.

The Verdict:

This has been such a game changer to my makeup routine. I have very rarely come across a buildable concealer. This is perfect to cover my dark under eyes and it doesn’t crease!

I definitely prefer to apply this with a sponge rather than a brush. It has such a creamy texture that I can personally work more with the product using a sponge. But brush application can look just as gorgeous.

I do use the elf Putty Primer with this, but cream primers have been great too. After trying the brand, I have the Rare Beauty Primers on my list to try! If anyone can make a suggestion as to which to try, please comment below.

I have found this concealer doesn’t need powdering down and stays all day! The only thing I dislike is the doe foot applicator. But in comparison to others, this doesn’t soak in the product as much. So I don’t waste a lot of product when cleaning after use.

As always, thanks for reading…
