On The Third Week Of Christmas…

Things calmed down for the third week of Christmas but I still found myself checking things off the list each day!

Everything Is Wrapped✔️

And I don’t just mean present wise. I wrapped up at work and taken some much needed time off over the festive period. Hoping to spend that time reading and getting some life stuff sorted as we go into the New Year. Although I have finished mine, I have left the gift wrapping supplies out. With the brother coming home for Christmas, I suspect I may be doing his wrapping.

Turkey Dash…Done✔️

I decided to put this post up a day later as on the 23rd we collect our Christmas food shops. Yes, shops. If you haven’t thought of Morrisons for your Christmas shop, I’d highly recommend them. We go a food to order sorted as soon as it opens for Christmas. For the turkey, fancy pits, and desserts. We will collect it at the same time we schedule a click and collect. And that order is for all the fruit, veg and picky bits. It’s almost a military operation, with printed lists, bags and boxes.

Sweet Table…Done✔️

I’ve spoken on my blog before about one of our Christmas traditions, but if you are new here. My grandparents started a tradition of setting up the side unit with tubs of sweets, bowls of fruit, bowls of nuts and filing gaps with little mini bars. It’s something that my mum then did with us and a lot of my family do this tradition still too.

Here is 2023’s Christmas Sweet Table…

And that was the third week of Christmas. With Christmas Eve tomorrow I hope if you celebrate the holiday, you have the best time. If you find Christmas difficult, please take care of yourself and get some much needed rest ❤️

As always, thanks for reading…
