How many products are repeated?
Compared to last year’s release, there is 1 repeated product in the advent calendar highlighted above.
What is different to last year?
The Liberty Men’s Advent calendar always keeps a similar front design and the same shaped box, much like the Beauty version. However, each year they change the print and color scheme on the inside of the doors. I really like this year’s art deco-inspired pattern. It’s very much on brand.
My Thoughts
When I first started reviewing Advent Calendars back in 2015, men’s editions were rare. Over the years more have appeared, but few refresh their line-up as consistently as Liberty.
This year’s men’s calendar is priced at £260.00, with a contents value of £932.00. That’s a £15.00 increase on last year, but the value has also risen by a huge £232.00.
It’s another advent that does that “on the fence” feeling. The RRP is high. For some it is a week’s wages. Still, for those who are wanting to branch into luxury grooming and skincare, the variety and savings make it tempting.
It’s the sort of splurge that feels like an investment, and for many, that’s where the true appeal lies. I can see why many decide to buy this.
