How many products are repeated?
Compared to last year’s release, there are no repeated products in the advent calendar.
What is different to last year?
This year’s beauty advent calendar keeps a similar design, which has now become a stale for the brand. But with a new neutral colour scheme. Giving it a more “plain” look that’s perfect for reuse long after December.
Inside, every single product is new for this edition. Though you’ll still spot a couple of familiar brands. It feels like the perfect balance of fresh surprises but with brands Harrod customers trust.
My Thoughts
With an estimated worth of £1,500.00+, this year’s Harrods Beauty Advent Calendar retails at £250.00 RRP. Unlike last year, the brand hasn’t provided a direct comparison to highlight the worth to value. Yes, it’s worth the price in monetary terms.
However, having followed the calendar for four years now, I personally don’t feel it delivers. The selection leans heavily towards single-use products, with five days dedicated solely to masks. Which is disappointing for such a luxury advent.
When you’re spending close to a week’s wages, I believe there are far stronger contenders available in this years beauty advent calendar market.
