GLOSSYBOX 2026 Advent Calendar

For today’s Calendar Countdown, we’re taking a look at The GLOSSYBOX 2026 Advent Calendar.

As always, these posts are based on my own opinion. I’ll be comparing the calendar with previous versions, other advent calendars on the market, and most importantly, whether I think you’ll get your money’s worth from the products inside.

I don’t buy every calendar I feature because, quite honestly, that would be a huge waste of products! Instead, I’m looking at them from the perspective of someone who loves beauty, has years of retail experience, and thinks advent calendars are a great way to discover new brands and try products you might not otherwise pick up.

A large pink Glossybox advent calendar decorated with peach bow illustrations stands upright against a soft, draped pink curtain backdrop. Arranged in front of and around the box on a bright red surface are numerous cosmetics and skincare products displayed alongside small, ribbon-wrapped gift boxes. The assortment includes items such as facial serums, body lotions, face masks, makeup brushes, a lit scented candle, lip oil, mascara, eye shadow pencils, a blush compact, and various squeeze tubes and dropper bottles from recognizable beauty brands.

How does it compare to last year?

There are some interesting changes between the 2025 and 2026 GLOSSYBOX calendars.

The price has stayed the same at £90, but the number of products has dropped from 27 in 2025 to 26 in 2026. However, the stated value has increased from over £624 to over £645, and the 2026 calendar has an impressive 21 full-size products.

The biggest positive for me is that there are no product repeats between the two calendars. There are some returning brands, including Medik8, Aveeno, Doctors Formula, MUA and Commodity, but the actual products are different. For example, 2025 had Commodity Milk Expressive, while 2026 has the newer Milk Orchid Expressive.

I think that’s a really good move from GLOSSYBOX. If you bought last year’s calendar, you’re not simply being given another version of the same box with a handful of swaps. The 2026 selection feels like a genuinely new calendar while still retaining some of the brands that GLOSSYBOX customers will recognise.

The packaging has also changed. Last year’s calendar used a two-drawer design. While 2026 comes in a much more traditional two-door opening advent-style box with a gorgeous pink bow design. Although I loved the design last year, this has a festive kick whilst being reusable.

Who would I recommend this to?

This would be a good choice for you if you:

  • Love trying lots of different beauty brands
  • Want a good mixture of skincare, makeup, haircare and body products
  • Prefer advent calendars with lots of full-size products
  • Enjoy discovering brands you might not normally buy
  • Like getting beauty tools alongside products
  • Are happy to spend £90 on an advent calendar or are already a GLOSSYBOX subscriber and can get it for £75

I’d probably skip it if you:

  • Prefer a one category only advent calendar (such as body care only or skin care only)
  • Dislike receiving beauty tools or candles in advent calendars
  • Don’t think you’ll use enough of the products to justify £90

My Thoughts

I think this is a really strong offering from GLOSSYBOX this year. At £90, you’re getting 26 products worth over £645, and the fact that 21 are full size makes the value particularly impressive.

What I like most is the variety. There is a good mixture of skincare, makeup, haircare, fragrance and beauty tools. Meaning you’re not opening 24 days of variations on the same product. There are also some really well-loved brand names in here, including Medik8, Patrick Ta, Huda Beauty, Commodity and Rodial.

As mentioned above, I appreciate there aren’t any exact repeats from last year’s calendar. Some brands return, but they’ve used different products, which makes this feel much more worthwhile for anyone who bought the 2025 version.

The only thing that makes me hesitate slightly is that GLOSSYBOX calendars can feel a little like an extended beauty-box collection. You’re getting a lot of different brands and products, but not everything will be a winner for everyone. However, with 21 full-size products, I think there’s a very good chance you’ll find plenty of things you’ll actually use.

And if you’re a GLOSSYBOX subscriber and can pick this up for £75. Making the value even harder to argue with.

Do you get your money’s worth?: Yes
