For today’s Calendar Countdown, we’re taking a look at the Cult Beauty ‘The Signature Edition’ Advent Calendar.
As always, these posts are based on my own opinion. I’ll be comparing the calendar with previous versions, other advent calendars on the market, and most importantly, whether I think you’ll get your money’s worth from the products inside.
I don’t buy every calendar I feature because, quite honestly, that would be a huge waste of products! Instead, I’m looking at them from the perspective of someone who loves beauty, has years of retail experience, and thinks advent calendars are a great way to discover new brands and try products you might not otherwise pick up.

How does it compare to last year?
The price has increased slightly, going from £240 in 2025 to £245 in 2026. However, this year’s calendar contains 33 products, compared with 34 in the previous version, while the number of full-size products has dropped slightly from 20 to 19.
I don’t think that small reduction is necessarily a dealbreaker, though. The 2026 calendar has a really strong line-up of brands, including Westman Atelier, Augustinus Bader, Medik8, Hourglass, Paula’s Choice and Sunday Riley.
I also like that Cult Beauty has included seven launches from 2026, which gives the calendar a more current feel rather than simply filling it with established bestsellers.
The other thing worth mentioning is that Cult Beauty has introduced two different versions this year. The Signature Edition focuses on makeup, skincare, and haircare, while the Special Edition includes more fragrance. Both are £245, so there’s a genuine choice depending on what you prefer. I have decided to only talk about the Signature Edition. This is so I keep it fair when comparing each year.
Who would I recommend this to?
This would be a good choice for you if you:
- Love discovering luxury and cult beauty brands
- Want a mixture of skincare, makeup and haircare
- Enjoy trying both established favourites and newer launches
- Recognise lots of the brands stocked by Cult Beauty
- Prefer an advent calendar with a strong selection of full-size products
- Like having a mixture of makeup and skincare rather than a single category
- Have £245 to spend on a beauty advent calendar
I’d probably skip it if you:
- Have a strict advent calendar budget
- Don’t use a wide variety of beauty products
- Already own lots of products from the brands included
- Would struggle to use enough of the products to justify the £245 price
My Thoughts
Cult Beauty is a favourite company of mine, but this advent calendar has left me on the fence.
There are some really good products in here. I also really like the balance between skincare and makeup. It doesn’t feel overwhelmingly skincare-heavy, which is something that can happen with these larger beauty retailer calendars.
The main thing holding me back is the number of travel-size products. While there are 19 full-size products, there are also 12 travel sizes and two deluxe sizes, so you’re still paying £245 for quite a few smaller products.
That said, the range of brands is excellent, and the stated value of over £1,100 is difficult to ignore. If you already shop at Cult Beauty and there are several products here that you’ve been wanting to try, I think the calendar becomes much easier to justify.
For me, this is one where the contents will really determine whether it’s worth buying for you personally. There are some fantastic products inside, but I’d want to make sure I’m going to use enough of the travel sizes before spending £245.
