Boots ’24 Days of Skin’ Advent Calendar

For today’s Calendar Countdown, we’re taking a look at the Boots ’24 Days of Skin’ Advent Calendar 2026.

As always, these posts are based on my own opinion. I’ll be comparing the calendar with previous versions, other advent calendars on the market, and most importantly, whether I think you’ll get your money’s worth from the products inside.

I don’t buy every calendar I feature because, quite honestly, that would be a huge waste of products! Instead, I’m looking at them from the perspective of someone who loves beauty, has years of retail experience, and thinks advent calendars are a great way to discover new brands and try products you might not otherwise pick up.

An assortment of skincare products is displayed in front of and on top of a pink advent calendar with festive star and ribbon illustrations. The collection includes various bottles, tubes, jars, and face mask pouches from brands such as The Inkey List, Cetaphil, Q+A, Mighty Patch, and Mediheal, set against a bright pink background with a dark red ribbon curving across the foreground.

How does it compare to last year?

Last year’s Boots skincare calendar contained 24 days and 20 full-size products, with a stated value of £289. This year’s calendar keeps the price at £70, but the value has increased to £303.56, and the number of full-size products has increased to 21.

Meaning you’re getting one additional full-size product and around £14.56 more in stated value.

Boots has taken a whole different direction with the contents. This year’s calendar feels much more focused on the current skincare landscape, particularly with the strong selection of Korean beauty brands. And with 21 of the 24 products being full size, this is definitely a calendar where Boots has put a lot of emphasis on usable products rather than tiny samples.

I also like that they went back to the traditional book-opening style of advent. I feel it works better than the drawer style they had last year.

Who would I recommend this to?

This would be a good choice for you if you:

  • Love skincare
  • Want to discover more Korean beauty brands
  • Enjoy trying new skincare products
  • Prefer advent calendars with lots of full-size products
  • Want a skincare-focused calendar rather than a mixture of makeup and beauty
  • Have £70.00 to spend on a beauty advent calendar

I’d probably skip it if you:

  • Want a mixture of makeup, haircare and fragrance
  • Already have a large skincare collection

My Thoughts

I think Boots has made a really interesting choice with this year’s skincare calendar. At £70.00, you’re getting 24 products, 21 of which are full size, and a stated value of £303.56. That’s a pretty impressive amount of product for the price.

What really stands out to me is the selection of Korean beauty brands. Anua, Haruharu, Round Lab, Beauty of Joseon, Byoma, Genabelle and Tocobo make this feel very current, particularly if you’ve been wanting to try more K-beauty.

And I think Boots has got the balance right. Rather than filling the calendar with lots of small versions of products you may already know, there are plenty of full-size products that you can properly incorporate into your routine.

The 21 full-size products are definitely the biggest selling point for me. When you’re spending £70 on an advent calendar, I think getting full-size products makes it much easier to justify the price. That price point also makes it appealing. At £70, it sits below many of the larger beauty advent calendars while still giving you a very substantial amount of product.

The downside is that this is very much a skincare calendar. If you want makeup, haircare, fragrance, or a wider mix of beauty products, this probably isn’t for you.

But if skincare is your thing, Boots has created a strong option here.

Do you get your money’s worth?: Yes
