How many products are repeated?
Compared to last year’s release, there are 14 repeated products in the advent calendar.
What is different to last year?
Benefit are becoming the brand who package their advent in the most creative way. I love the retro feel with this rubix cube. Again, includes a couple of pink shades, which is very on brand for Benefit.
My Thoughts
Priced at £135.00, this is £21.00 cheaper than last year’s advent calendar. It’s surprising, as it’s not often you see such a significant price drop. However, when you look at the contents, it quickly becomes clear where those savings have come from.
In comparison to previous years, Benefit has taken a step back from including too many blush and lip colours. Instead, the brand has struck a much better balance between complexion, lips, and eyes.
I really like Benefit as a brand, and their advent calendar still feels well priced, especially as it offers £266.00 in product value.
On the other hand, this isn’t the best choice for someone wanting to try something new, if they purchased it last year. With 14 repeated products, I believe it’s about time Benefit considered releasing a 12-day advent too.
