Elf On The Shelf Ideas #1

Written by Carol Aebersold and daughter, Chanda Bell, with illustrations by Coë Steinwart, the story of Elf On The Shelf is a very American concept.

The story tells children how Santa sends “scout elves” to hide in their homes. To watch over and see if they are being good. Once everyone is asleep the scout elf flies back to the North Pole. They report to Santa all the good and bad things that have happened throughout the day. The elf then flies back to the house before morning and hides in a different place each time. Sometimes the elf can be quite mischievous.

I have seen many Elf On The Shelf ideas across social media. I thought it would be fun to create some of my own and recreate some for the blog.

Here are 24 days of Elf On The Shelf ideas:

As you can see, I used a lot of household props and created some on the computer. The photobooth for day 17, I found as a printable on This Mama Loves.

I hope you like these Elf On The Shelf Ideas. I’d love to know if you recreate them. You can tag me on FacebookTwitter / XInstagram or Pinterest.

As always, thanks for reading…
