This year’s advent calendar includes 9 repeated products (highlighted above), 3 more than last year.
What is different to last year?
For the third consecutive year, the advent calendar maintains the same structure: a book-like design with products in individual boxes. This year, they’ve opted for a new look—a blue and white box with gold accents, featuring a rocket and stars on the front. I love the shade of blue that Clarins uses for the men’s line; it’s instantly recognisable.
My Thoughts
Priced at £85.00 RRP with a value of £108.00, this year’s advent calendar has seen quite a change. The RRP has increased by £20.00, but the overall value has decreased by £34.23. Knowing this—and considering that nine products are repeats—I’m a little disappointed. For new customers, it’s still a tidy saving, but for repeat buyers, there’s not much newness. Why pay more for the same items?
It’s a shame, as Clarins is one of the originals in offering male grooming advent calendars.
