What is different to last year?
I didn’t get a chance to review last year’s calendar, as it sold out so quickly. The shape is the biggest change this year, and I love the heart-shaped box with the heart and star knobs on the drawers. I’m quite surprised by the red and gold colour scheme—it’s very festive, but I’ve always known Charlotte Tilbury to stick to her golds, pinks, and neutrals.
My Thoughts
Priced at £170.00, it’s £10.00 more than last year, with the value not being advertised, which is unusual. I tallied it up as best as I could, including the travel sizes, and found the total value to be just over £225.00—similar to last year.
This year, you’re getting 3 full-sized products, so it’s still a great saving. It’s quite common to have repeat items in a Charlotte Tilbury advent calendar, as they often include their most popular skincare products. While some people might feel it’s not worth the money due to the repeats, others see it as a chance to save on products they’d buy regularly.
For new customers, this can still be an expensive way to try the brand, so I’d suggest checking out their Christmas gifting range instead.
