How many products are repeated?
There are 4 repeated products in the advent calendar this year. It’s great to see only a small number of repeats, but for a second-year release, I was surprised to see any at all.
What is different to last year?
Keeping the same structure of having items in individual boxes in a two-drawer chest, Boots has decided to show off that they are behind the advent this year. With a gorgeous purple, pink, and lavender colour scheme, the Boots logo is half-printed on the front of the box. Even though the logo is cut off, you can spot it from a mile away.
My Thoughts
Priced the same as last year with a £99.00 RRP, this calendar offers £365.87 worth of products. That’s around £80.00 less in value than last year, but you can see where that went.
Last year’s contents were a nice treat but included brands that aren’t as budget-friendly. This year, the products are not only favourites among the beauty community but are also more affordable. There are still some higher-end brands and treat items, but I commend Boots for rethinking this advent calendar and making these changes. It makes it more accessible, and I think brands don’t always take that into account. 100% worth the RRP.
