Pumpkin Carvings 2024
Here are my pumpkin carvings for 2024. I was a bit stressed about choosing a design this year. I considered doing Dorothy and her friends from The Wizard of Oz since the new Wicked movie is coming out, but carving four pumpkins while recovering from surgery didn’t seem ideal. I also thought about Pennywise but realised I might scare some kids with that one.
Last Sunday night, I was in a reading sprint chat hosted by Tiffany from TheBeachBumBoomworm. It was during that live that Sonia from SoniaWithAnI suggested Scooby Doo. After a little googling and some templates from Pumpkin Pile, I finally had a duo to carve into my pumpkins.
“Scooby-Dooby-Doo!”
These were more difficult than they looked, but I’m so happy with how they turned out! Every year, I tell myself I need to invest in better carving tools, and every year, I think, ‘Well, it’s only a couple of pumpkins; the pound shop sets will do.’
