How many products are repeated?
There are no repeated products in the advent calendar this year! I love it when I find an advent calendar that does this. For me, it goes to show that they know the industry they are in. Instead of solely relying on their own best-sellers or viral products.
What is different to last year?
Sephora has maintained the same structure; however, they’ve decided to go for a shiny silver foil cover this year. I love this drawer-style box because it’s not only reusable but also seems much more spacious compared to other brands I’ve seen. When you are designing something to be reusable as makeup storage, it must have the space! Also, I like this silver, it is a great choice for an all-year-round makeup box.
My Thoughts
Priced at £199.00 RRP, this has increased by £10.00. With a value of over £1,000.00, it’s undeniably a steal. It includes 40 products (four more than last year), 24 of which are full-sized, and the contents are well-balanced between skincare, makeup, and body care. Overall, it’s an incredible contender for the top spot. Looking at the other two advent calendars Sephora has released. They may be the ones to beat this year.
All good points aside, I am still hesitant as £199.00 is a steep price. Last year, I mentioned it might be something you’d ask friends and family to pool together for as a gift. Nevertheless, if you’ve saved up or simply want to splurge on yourself, I wouldn’t blame you for indulging in this advent calendar.
