A Millennials Guide To Halloween Costumes // Beetlejuice Edition
With the release of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, it’s no surprise that it made this year’s A Millennial’s Guide. Many retailers have released clothing pieces and updated licensed costumes, and it seems to be the most affordable go-to character base this year.

The great thing about this costume is not just its affordability, but how these pieces can easily work in your everyday wardrobe too. I’ve seen people go all out with the striped shirt or break up the white with a black T-shirt. You can tone down the stripes and still have everyone know who you’re dressed as. I would prefer wearing a black T-shirt, especially if it’s for a party—since I’d likely be the one to get a stain down the front!

I love the wedding dress look Lydia wears in the first Beetlejuice movie. It’s iconic but not the easiest to wear. I applaud anyone who can attend a costume party or gathering in a full-on wedding dress. This lace slip dress from Primark is the perfect alternative, and like the Beetlejuice costume, it’s something you could wear again. It’s one of the simplest looks to put together, both costume- and makeup-wise. I can see many people recreating this look this Halloween.

Of course, I had to include a character from the second film in the franchise. This is another costume that’s simple to put together, though the makeup might be a bit more challenging if you’re not used to body painting. Delores is a character I can see many people recreating—she’s the villain of the season.
Luckily, we have some fantastic creators showcasing their Beetlejuice makeup skills in an upcoming Creator Edition post.
And that wraps up A Millennials Guide To Halloween Costumes, Beetlejuice edition. It seems that Primark has managed to provide all the pieces needed to recreate a variety of characters from this franchise.
