Ladies In Red // SAG Awards 2024
Last night, the 2024 SAG Awards premiered on Netflix and let’s just say, the ladies in red absolutely killed that red carpet.
Hannah Waddingham
In this stunning off-shoulder Tony Ward gown, Hannah Waddingham once again gives me ‘heart’ eyes.
The ruby red sequins, the ruched gather at the top of the leg slit and the subtle train. For me, this is such a classic cut for a dress and it suits Hannah to a T.
I think it’s hard to style off-the-shoulder dresses with shorter hair. But her team have done it again by framing her face with the side part.
I also like the neutral lip as it lets this gorgeous dress colour compliment her skin tone.
As always, an A+ from me.
Emily Blunt
Dressed in Louis Vuitton, another designer who has been behind many favourite red carpet looks this year. Emily Blunt wowed with this bright red.
The halter neck fastening with this hourglass cut neckline elongates Emily’s figure. I love how solid the colour is. It’s the perfect tone for her and how it compliments her caramel hair.
The small train, another theme amongst red carpet looks this year, gives elegance to the look. I also like the thick bracelets on each wrist.
The look is very well accessorised. It’s simple, it’s elegant and classic.
Fran Drescher
Fran Drescher is a fashion icon, with clothing from her series The Nanny, trending and being recreated across TikTok.
At the SAG Awards, the actress and comedian was every bit the Hollywood starlet in Reem Acra.
I love this sequined gown. I don’t think there is anywhere other than a red carpet event you could wear one.
The v-neckline with defined shoulders and long sleeves suits Fran’s figure. I especially like the ruching from the v to the slit. The lace slip detailing over the leg is a very nice contrast.
Her big curls and bounce to her hair are quintessentially Fran.
Reese Witherspoon
Wearing Elie Saab Haute Couture, Reese Witherspoon wore my favourite dress of the night.
This strapless wrap-style dress is a gorgeous deep red. The pleats on the bodice not only pull in Reese’s figure but give the gorgeous cascading feature.
I love the length of this dress, and the wrap style with the slit gives it lovely movement.
Paired perfectly with simple jewellery pieces and the sandal style red heels to match.
Long big curls and neutral makeup… this is one of those looks that is not only red carpet stunning but one that you could wear to any event.
Absolutely stunning.
