Hello, I’m Hannah and I’m starting life in my 30’s. I started this blog in 2013, after I discovered the online beauty community. Since then, it’s become my connection with the outside world, a diary, a way to keep my sanity and a space for me to be me.

My Voice

I discuss a whole host of topics, from beauty to my personal life. From this, I went on to create different series, which I repeat on the blog each year.
The August Review is a multiple post series that reviews products I’ve used during the year. These posts are my way of recommending products I’ve used for a longer period of time, instead of writing multiple first impressions.
Calendar Countdown was born when I realised beauty advent calendars were becoming a thing. It’s more of an information hub style series. I like to compare the calendar to it previous years. Highlighting design, contents and price. Then I give my opinion on whether I think it’s worth the money.

Halloween content is my favourite, as it’s a way for my creativity to come out during one of my favourite times of the year. I’m no expert at makeup, especially when it comes to SFX. But, I give it a go. I also post pumpkin carving ideas, trick or treat bags and much more.
Gift Guides. I’ll admit, I’m ‘that’ person amongst my family and friends to say “this would be a perfect gift for…” or “we could package this up for…”. It’s something that has always come naturally. When I see all these different brands with various lines of gifting options for different occasions, I like to put them into guides. I like to help find the perfect gift for that someone in your life.

Ulcerative Colitis & Stitch The Stoma

In February 2014, I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. It was a hard journey and 6 years later, in February 2020, I had stoma surgery to create Stitch. My life changed a lot from diagnosis to surgery. This space has allowed me to continue having my voice. Back in September 2021, we decided that I would be having further surgery, a subtotal colectomy. It was completed on 5th May 2022 and I’ve been sharing my recovery journey ever since.

You

But, I don’t want this to be all about me, I want your opinion too. So join in! Comment on posts, interact with me on Social media, let’s start a discussion.

As always, I will thank you for reading 😊
